Overview

Morristown Medical Center, a member of Atlantic Health System, is seeking a Per-diem Administrative Assistant for the Radiology Unit. Hours vary, including weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Selected candidate will manage phones, process patient requisitions, coordinate patient flow, monitor status of patients waiting for completion of procedures, communicate with sections within department, act as an assistant to attending physicians, operate radiology information system (RIS) and hosptial information systems and perform other administrative functions associated with a hospital Radiology Department.

 

 

Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.

Qualifications

Education:

  •  High School Diploma or equivalent required.

 

Related Experience:

  • Minimum one year experience as Office Assistant/Receptionist (preferably healthcare environment) required.
  • Computer proficiency essential.
  • Excellent communication & customer service skills a must.
