Morristown Medical Center, a member of Atlantic Health System, is seeking a Per-diem Administrative Assistant for the Nursing Resource Unit. Shift varies, including weekends as needed.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Answer phones
  • Assign and reassign sitter/spotters throughout the hospital as needed making sure resources are utilized in the most appropriate manner
  • Reach out to the units to verify coverage requests
  • Greet and direct PST staff
  • Assemble orientation packages
  • maintain and updating excel spreadsheets



Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.

  • High school diploma and administrative staff experience Required
  • Some college preferred


Related Experience:

  • Must be able to work 2:00 PM to 10 PM on weekdays and 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekends as needed

  • Hospital experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Word required
  • Excel and PowerPoint preferred
  • Must have excellent phone, organizational and interpersonal skills
