Events may include high school sports, community college games, elite soccer academy games/training sessions, youth and adult rugby, youth football, as well as tournaments of various sporting events. A plan of care through our supervising physician as well as athletic training supplies and medical record documentation has been established. In particular candidates that have weekday availability are preferred due to the increased of requests for our staff. Weekend coverage are also a necessary component of the position. Atlantic Health System’s orientation and hiring requirements must be completed before event coverage may occur.
Minimum of Undergraduate degree from a CAATE accredited athletic training program. Must be qualified and experienced NATABOC certified athletic trainers in the state of NJ by the Board of Medical Examiners to become part of the per diem athletic training staff.
