Overview

The Special Events Coordinator is responsible for the production and coordination of Foundation fundraising events, Founders Society and annual events, donor dedication ceremonies and receptions, and cultivation events. Manages volunteers, hospital staff, event consultants and vendors to ensure the success of all events. Also assists donor relations manager and director of communications and donor relations with department projects as needed.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience in planning and running large-scale events
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Detail-oriented, strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Experience in developing and adhering to budgets
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in working with and motivating volunteers
