Provides 1:1 or 1:4 companionship for patients identified to be at high risk for harm/ safety.. Ensures the safety of the patient environment. Monitors patient and never leave patient unattended; Provides companionship by listening and talking with patient; Ambulates patients and assists patients into and out of bed as directed by the nursing staff; assisting the patient out of bed, sitting up, dangling, lifting, standing, turning, and walking. Assists patients with meals and other activities of daily living as directed by nursing staff.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Current BLS certification (or must be obtained within 3 months of hire)
