    Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Monitor Tech for Overlook Medical Center. Days, 6:45 a.m. - 7:45 p.m. and every other weekend.


    The full time Monitor Technician (MT) will be responsible for monitoring cardiac rhythms for telemetry in-patients. The ideal candidate will have flexible scheduling ability to meet the department needs including, weekends, and holidays. The MT will observe the patient telemetry monitoring system and report any abnormal responses promptly to nurses and doctors as per protocol. He/ she will admit and discharge patients from the system, print rhythm strips and document interpretation as per protocol, and monitor accurate functioning of the patient telemetry monitoring system (i.e., battery life, rhythm clarity related to patient setup, and transmitter safety).

    High school diploma or equivalent required. 1 year experience as a monitor technician or related experience preferred. Successful completion of a monitor technician course at any hospital facility required. Experience with Microsoft office required.
