1.Must be able to perform Hematology, Chemistry, Serology, Urinalysis and Blood Bank testing in the Laboratory.
2.Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and calibration of manual and automated Core Laboratory equipment and analyzers.
3.Must be able to perform quality control and calibrations according to Laboratory SOP.
4.Must be able to accurately perform manual differentials, urine microscopics and Blood Bank testing.
5.Must be able to troubleshoot minor equipment failures, and document remedial actions such as repairs or repeated tests.
6.Must be able to provide training and guidance to MLS students and Clinical Lab Assistants.
7. Must adhere to Laboratory's quality control policies and document all quality control activities.
8.Must ensure all corporate safety, quality control, and quality assurance standards are met.
9.Must ensure compliance with all local, federal, CLIA and CAP regulations.
10. Responsible for maintaining a clean and well-organized work area.
11. And other duties, as assigned by supervisor
BS, MT or MLS req. (ASCP pref)
1-2 yrs. previous Core Lab or Blood Bank exper. pref.
