  • Overview

    Provides primary technical end user support of mobile devices, personal computer, workstations and associated peripherals. This may include diagnosis and troubleshooting of all organizational software, hardware and Operating Systems. Position may be assigned to any AH facility. Hours may be modified at the discretion of Client Services Management as necessary to provide 24/7 customer support.

    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
    • Enter calls into the HP Service Manager tracking system
    • Provide first level technical support to the employees and other customers of Atlantic Health
    • Provide assistance and troubleshooting including identification, resolution, escalation, referral and follow up with PC, network and application issues
    • Answer all email, voice mail, pages and written documents in a timely manner
    • Monitors systems including servers, interfaces and print servers, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
    • Perform system backups per documented procedures
    • Run reports and downloads per documented procedures
    • Coordinate with managers and lead analysts on all emergency outages
    • Maintain an accurate on-call list for all Information Systems personnel
    • Provide timely resolution to all assigned calls and or tasks
    • Document and escalate calls to the appropriate queues
    • Provide customers with accurate progress information on their requests
    • Interact with all other ISS staff members to achieve successful implementation and maintenance of organizational hardware and software
    • Work with vendors as necessary to achieve successful implementation and maintenance of hospital hardware and software
    • Attend meetings and training sessions as necessary
    • Move computer equipment as necessary
    • Other duties not previously outlined



    • Associates Degree, Technical Degree or equivalent work experience


    • MCP Certification or A+
    • MTA
    • MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Support Technician 7 Preferable



    • 1 year customer service in IT Required
    • Skills Knowledge of the Windows Operating Systems
    • Working knowledge of healthcare terminology
