  • Overview

    Responsible for the operational oversight and implementation of fundraising tools and technology to align core coding practices and policies and create a system wide donor constituent record management solution. Once established, the position will be responsible for the administration, management and security of the foundations’ integrated database.

    Responsibilities

    • Development of local and system wide policies and procedures and the standardization of core coding practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations to support enhanced fundraising.
    • Responsible for data integrity management and solutions. Ensures practices are in place to maintain quality data. Responsible for maintenance, clean up and special projects as needed.
    • Analyzes data and supports unique and universal information needs of Foundation staff at the local and system level
    • Develops system level/site specific reports and queries.
    • Support research and data mining efforts to help identify new prospects.
    • Responsible for database interfaces and providing support for data manipulation, imports and exports.
    • Training and development of staff. Provides resources as needed. Works with vendors to arrange ongoing education and staff support.
    • Manages vendor and Atlantic IT relationships and serves as liaison. Coordinates software testing and upgrades.
    • Responsible for managing system security and protocols.
    • Remains current on new tools, upgrades and resources to maximize organizational efficiency and support front-line fund raisers and donor relations.
    • Plans and proposes annual operating budget related to CRM system and resources. Monitors expenses.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Bachelors or advanced degree

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of five years of progressive experience in philanthropy database management
    • Proficiency in Raiser’s Edge or similar database
    • Demonstrated experience in CRM system alignment and integration
    • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills. Excellent organizational skills and strong written and verbal communications skills
    • Commitment to the ethical use of information
    • Must adhere to HIPAA regulations
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products
    • Proficiency with Crystal Reports
