    Responsibilities

    Under the general direction of the department manager and clinical coordinator, in collaborative practice with the Medical Director or other designated collaborating physician, and within the scope of the Nurse Practice act, is responsible for the implementation and management of the Employer Based Medical Services at the work site(s) of the client company.

     

    The Per-Diem NP will provide coverage as needed for our APNS who are assigned to our corporate client locations.  Will participate in our flu program and health screenings.   May also provide PD coverage at our on-site employer based Primary Care Practice.

     

     

    Required:

     

    • Must be qualified to organize, manage and evaluate the nursing service.
    • Must be able to assess, diagnose, and treat or refer health problems arising in the workplace.
    • Must exhibit a high level of customer service and client responsiveness.
    • Prior experience in a corporate environment is preferred.
    • Prior experience in ambulatory care, occupational medicine or emergency room nursing is preferred.

     

     

    Qualifications

    Education and Certifications:

     

    • Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited university.
    • Certification from a national certification agency as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Practice Nurse.
    • Current State of NJ license as an Adult or Family Advanced Practice Nurse with prescriptive privileges and as a registered professional nurse.

    Corporate Health, Occupational Health, Health and Wellness Programming experience preferred.
