  • Overview

    Chilton Medical Center, non-profit community hospital affiliated with Atlantic Health System, is seeking a Per Diem Unit Associate to work in our Nursing Resource Center.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Answering phones, reviewing medical orders, ordering beds as needed
    • Assign beds for house in collaboration with ED and supervisor
    • Collaborate with nursing staff and supervisor

    Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.

    Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.

    Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.

    Answer phones, use Meditech for order entry.  Organize  patient charts, maintain medical records.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    HS diploma required

     

    Skills:
    Ability to read and write English

    Bed management

    Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred

    Strong Computer skills preferred

    Acute Care experience preferred
