    Chilton Medical Center, a member of Atlantic Health System, is seeking a Full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for the Critical Care Step-down Unit - 5 East working primarily 7:00am - 7:30pm, including every other weekend.


    Essential Job Functions:

    • Candidate will care for ICU and intermediate/telemetry patients in a newly renovated 12-bed ICU and 9 bed acuity adjustable unit.
    • Candidate will assist the manager administratively doing payroll, scheduling, and evaluations.
    • In our Shared Governance environment, the leader will assist in ensuring nursing standards are monitored and met in a safe, healing environment to provide excellent patient care.
    • Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served
    • Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills
    • Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families
    • Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job



    • BSN required
    • Masters Degree preferred

    Required License:

    • Valid New Jersey Nursing License Required


    • BLS required
    • ACLS preferred
    • Critical Care Certification preferred

    Related Experience:

    • Minimum 3 year of Acute Care/Critical Care experience
