Overview

Overlook Medical Center, a member of Atlantic Health System, is seeking a full-time Security Officer I.  Required hours are 7am- 3pm, including every other weekend.

Responsibilities

Daily hospital operations including but not limited to:

  • Responding to codes, dispatching, report writing, alarm checks, foot and vehicle patrol, unit posts.
  • Comprehensive and mandatory training requirements included training that may be provided on non-work scheduled hours and may include week days and weekends.
  • Overall Safety of the Medical Center and all adjacent facilities and properties.

Qualifications

Education:

  •  High School Diploma required.
  •  Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  •  High School Diploma plus Military, extensive Law Enforcement or Security experience, will be considered in lieu of associate's degree. 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • CPR/AED and First Aid required
  • SORA preferred.
  • Reading, writing, communication and computer skills required.
  • Prior Security experience.
