Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking full-time Certified Medical Assistant for the Atlantic Neuroscience Associates, part of Atlantic Medical Group, at Overlook Medical Center.

  

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • The CMA will be responsible for directing patients in all phases of their experience with the practice.

  • Responsibilities will include greeting and preparing for patients, completing patient intake into EPIC system, maintaining exam rooms including cleaning and keeping inventory/ordering supplies, and handling patient prescriptions and pre-authorizations for diagnostic testing/procedures as well as other duties typical of a physician practice

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma required

  • Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program preferred

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Medical Assistant certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA and prior CMA experience in a physician practice preferred

  • EMR experience desired

  • EPIC preferred

  • CMA will work in Pain Management Center at Overlook

  • Neurology experience is desired
