Overview

The Application Support, PeopleSoft Analyst Level III is responsible for providing support and configuration changes specifically to the PeopleSoft HCM and Payroll applications. 

Responsibilities

Software upgrades and updates to the PeopleSoft 9.2 application version including:

  • Interface management and coding including enhancement requests; design of user security screens
  • Server and file transfer management
  • Data Security
  • Knowledge of Oracle database management – monthly security patching; regular scheduled and ad hoc refreshes; Management of all Test environments
  • PUM image/Tax Updates
  • Functions as a point of contact for effective issue escalation
  • Manages multiple priorities
  • Establishes standards and improvement of documentation
  • Works with customer to understand department workflow to support  application configuration.  
  • Manages customer expectations to ensure alignment with departmental goals and objectives.
  • Facilitates change management through established communication methods
  • Orients and mentors resources associated with work assignments
  • Demonstrates self-direction and works under minimal supervision
  • Achieves ITIL Foundation Certification
  • Complies with department change management policies
  • Demonstrates effective project management skills

Qualifications

Education and Training:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Technology or related field preferred or advanced certification in area of expertise  

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 to 7 years in information systems application support and/or technical services
  • Prior experience in healthcare preferred
  • Expertise with the following office automation tools:
    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • Microsoft Project
