Overview

Morristown Medical Center is seeking a Full Time Cardiac Sonographer for the Adult Echo Lab to work primarily 10:30-6:30pm and weekends as required by department. 

 

***Per Diem openings available as well working varied shifts (primarily 2pm-8pm), including every other weekend  ( one 8-hour shift anytime during the hours of 7a-5pm).

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

Perform noninvasive Adult Echo, Transthoracic, and TEE and Stress Echocardiograms in accordance with established Dept. protocols, as per ASE and IAC Guidelines. Must have 3 years scanning experience with TAVR, Mitral Clips and Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy protocols. Must be proficient with Pedof probe

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Graduate of CAAHEP or ABHES Cardiovascular Technology Program preferred.
  • RCDS with ARDMS or CCI Registry Required 

Experience:

  • At least 3 years’ experience performing Adult Echo, TEE, Stress Echo studies in a hospital setting.
  • At least 3 years’ experience performing TAVR, Mitral Clips and Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy assessments. Must be proficient with Pedof probe.
