Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Cardiovascular Ultrasound Tech in the Vascular Lab at Overlook Medical Center working varied shifts and weekends as required by the department. 

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • OMC Vascular Lab is looking for a PD Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technologist to perform non-invasive diagnostic studies in accordance with established department protocols based on IAC standards.
  • The candidate should possess sonographic skills in testing lower extremity venous, extracranial carotid arteries, physiologic testing (PVR), bypass grafts, dialysis and abdominal scanning
  • Knowledge of DICOM workflow inclusive of work list, imaging, exporting, and preliminary reports is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

Education/Certifications:

  • A HS Diploma is required. The candidate must also be a graduate of a CAAHEP accredited vascular sonography program and possess an ARDMS or CCI credential or, as a recent graduate, be eligible to obtain credentials within six months.

Relevant Experience:

  • Candidates with a minimum of one-years’ experience in the field are preferred however new graduates that possess a strong background will be considered.
