Overview

Atlantic Health System has an excellent opportunity for a Per Diem Physical Therapist at Morristown Medical Center. The shift for this position varies, Position includes two weekend days per month.   

Responsibilities

  • Team member will evaluate patients, determine deficits, establish treatment program to address patient needs
  • Provide evidence based interventions
  • Patient, family and caregiver education
  • Make recommendations for safe discharge plans
  • Document appropriately in the electronic medical record, and drop charges in accordance with billing guidelines and services provided

 

Qualifications

  • NJ PT Licensed
  • Graduate from an accredited APTA program
  • Minimum of 1-2 yrs exp, acute care setting preferred 

Prior experience in a large academic medical setting working with a variety of patients will be helpful. Preference given to candidates who love caring for patients, enjoy making meaningful contributions to the lives of other, gain satisfaction from a job well done, and bring their best self to work every day. Candidates are required to have NJ state licensure, specialty certification is a plus.
