Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Patient Experience Liaison at Morristown Medical Center working 10:30-6:30pm shift including every other Saturday and Sunday shifts together.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a liaison for all patients and families
  • Able to multitask and be flexible with facilitating inquiries for patients, visitors, and family members.
  • Facilitates family discussions and needs with multidisciplinary team
  • Identifies action plans based on results
  • Coordinates volunteers and pet therapy visits
  • Daily patient/family satisfaction rounding
  • Ordering of needed unit supplies/brochures
  • Attends hospital-wide Patient Experience Liaison meetings and reports back important system and hospital wide information to the department level
  • Should be able to display professionalism and good telephone etiquette.
  • Good communication skills.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma. Some college preferred

Relevant Experience:

  • Customer Service.
  • Retail experienced preferred.
  • HCAHPS knowledgeable.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Previous experience in caring for patients and families
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Publisher
