Atlantic Health System is seeking per diem Registered Nurse for Nursing Resource Float Pool at Newton Medical Center.

 

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Candidate will support Nursing Informatics manager in rounding on units, providing support during downtimes, assist in chart audits, and support the implementation of new technology related to nursing informatics.
  • Candidate must have strong working knowledge of EPIC.
  • Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. The the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidence based care with a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
  • Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity, and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.
  • candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required
  • BSN Preferred
  • Specialty certification: Informatics perferred

 

Licenses and Certifications:

  • NJ RN License required
  • BLS required
  • ACLS preferred

 

Relevant Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years acute care experience required
  • EPIC Electronic Medical Record experience required
