Overview

Overlook Medical Center, a member of Atlantic Health System, is seeking a Full Time Secretary-Technician to work night shift, 7:00 pm - 7:30 am including every other weekend.

Responsibilities

The candidate will be able to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care of critically ill patients. The candidate will provide nursing oversight for patient care and nursing services on the unit. This includes promotion of quality evidence based care and patient satisfaction in a fiscally responsive manner. They will collaborate with the UBSC and the rest of the leadership team. The candidate will assist with recruiting and training staff, assigning tasks and assessing performance.
Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values in every aspect of their job.
Candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Word and excel required. Epic preferred.
  • Clinical skills: Phlebotomy, ECG, glucometer
  • Prior administrative and/or patient care tech experience preferred
