Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Patient Financial Service Representative to work from 8AM to 4PM Mon. 

Responsibilities

Ensure claims failing clean submission are corrected timely in the host ISS system, electronic billing and payer system in accordance with claim submission guidelines. Consistent follow up to determine account status including resubmission of claims when appropriate. Timely processing of remittance advice returned to ensure open account balances are addressed.

Qualifications

Education:

  • College Degree required

 

Requirements:

  • Must have 2 years of hospital billing experience with Medicaid or Managed Medicaid preferred
  • Candidate must have excellent communication skills and articulate in a clear and concise manner
  • Must be proficient in Word, Excel and other various Microsoft applications
  • Must maintain high quality standards (timely and accurate processing of information) and positive employee relations
