Essential Job Function:

  • Report directly to the head of Talent Acquisition and collaboratively assure that implementation of standards of professional practice occurs as necessary to ensure efficiency
  • Lead team to develop and implement recruitment strategies in conjunction with Managers, Chief Nursing Officers, and Directors taking a proactive approach to fulfill the current and future needs of the organization
  • Recruit to acquire top talent in very high demanding markets and deploy strategies to win against competition
  • Creates a working environment that promotes positive employee engagement, adherence to company policies, effective communications, collaboration, innovation, optimal productivity, and continuous learning
  • Proactively drive service excellence, seeking feedback from all customers to anticipate and mediate potential risks in client satisfaction
  • Leverage analytics to drive business decisions for overall operations effectiveness including but not limited to predicting hiring needs, manage team workload, measuring strategy effectiveness
  • Consistently, evaluate core processes for redesign opportunities to improve operations, reduce cost, reduce cycle time, enhance service, and improve performance
  • Knowledge of employment and regulatory standards that apply to all recruitment activity and ensures compliance with all local, state, federal rules applicable laws, regulatory standards, and Atlantic Health System practices, including OSHA, Joint Commission, and Magnet



  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, management, business administration, or related

Relevant Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 5 years headhunting recruitment experience, healthcare or related industry preferred
  • 2 + years team supervisory experience preferred
  • Experienced and passionate about creating and deploying strategies for various recruiting initiatives including but not limited to expansions, diversity, building new teams
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools
  • Excellent knowledge of area of expertise (market status, trends, best practices)
  • Client focus along with relationship building skills
  • Effective negotiation, influencing and communication skills
  • Creative thinker and proactive problem solver
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
