Overview

Atlantic Medical Group, The Medical Institute of NJ (MINJ), part of Atlantic Health System is currently seeking multiple experienced Certified Medical Assistants to join team in Cedar Knolls area. Must be have flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions of Certfied Medical Assistant:

  • The will perform clinical as well as administrative tasks including managing phones, registering patients, scheduling appointments,

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) managing patient flow, rooming patients, vital signs, medication reconciliation

  • CMA will be maintaining/prepping exam rooms, and other duties typical of a CMA in a physician practice.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program 

Qualifications/Requirements Certified Medical Assistant:

  • Medical Assistant certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, NHA required

  • Post externship physician practice experience preferred

  • Prior EMR physician practice experience a plus

  • Experience with EPIC desired
