Overview

Morristown Medical Center, a member of Atlantic Health System, is seeking a Full-Time Administrative Assistant. Required hours Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate customer service.
  • Manage phones and departmental communication.
  • Process supply requisitions.
  • Operate hospital information system (EPIC) to help coordinate patient room cleaning.
  • Process payroll.
  • Support the administrative needs of the department Director.
  • Communicate with all departments within the hospital and vendors.
  • Use Microsoft 365 suite.
  • Perform other administrative functions associated with the Environmental Services Department.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience 

  • 2 + years in hospital administrative assistant role preferred.
  • Microsoft Office 365 required.
  • EPIC a plus.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Must be able to type 50WPM.
