Overview

Atlantic Medical group, part of Atlantic Health System currently has an opportunity for an experienced Certified Medical Assistant for Daibetes and Endocrinology Center - will be located in Bridgewater, but will have to flex to Morristown from time to time.

 

No weekend commitment!

DAy hours - stable and set schedule

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • The CMA will perform clinical as well as administrative functions: i.e., managing patient flow
  • Certfied Medical Assistant will also be rooming patients, vital signs, patient intake, register & schedule patients in a practice management system
  • The CMA will assist with authorizations/pre-cert, procedure scheduling, scanning, and other front desk administrative duties.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program preferred

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Medical Assistant certification through AAMA, AMCA, NCCT, AMT or NHA required
  • Ability work flexible hours to accommodate physician schedule
  • EMR experience preferred
  • Able to travel to other sites if necessary
