Overview

Family Practice at Overlook, part of Atlantic Medical Group, is currently seeking an experienced CMA Certified Medical Assistant to join our team.

 

Hours: 10:00am to 6pm - Saturday rotation (1 time every 4 weeks)

 

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • The CMA will perform clinical as well as administrative functions, i.e., managing patient flow, rooming patients, vital signs, patient intake, registering and scheduling patients in a practice management system, and other duties typical of a physician practice.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program preferred

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Medical Assistant certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA required
  • Prior MA experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate physician schedule
  • One evening shift per week, 11:00AM - 7:00PM required
