Overview

The Atlantic Warren Primary Care, part of Atlantic Medical Group, is currently seeing an experienced Certified Medical Assistant at our Warren Primary Care office.

 

Hours are 8:30-4:30 Mon-Fri

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • The CMA will perform clinical as well as administrative functions i.e. manage patient flow, perform vital signs, patient intake, all aspects of rooming patients, handle patient messages and communication, disability forms, patient letters
  • Assist front desk with phone management, maintain exam room and supplies, register and schedule patients in a practice management system and other duties typical of a CMA, Certified Medical Assistant in a physician practice. 

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Graduate of CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant Program preferred

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Graduate of CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant Program preferred
  • Certified by AMCA, AMT, AAMA, NHA or NCCT

Relevant Experience:

  • Post graduate CMA experience preferred. GYN experience a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate physician schedule essential
  • EPIC EMR experience a plus
