Overview

Union Primary Care, part of Atlantic Medical Group, is seeking a Medical Office Associate to work the day shift. 

 

Shift will typically be two nights - 11am-7pm, every other weekend, 8am-1pm

Day shift will be flexible

Responsibilities

 

  • Medical Office Associate greet patients, manage phones, schedule/confirm appointments, enter demographics & patient information
  • Verify insurance coverage, accurately complete necessary forms, collect co-pays, balance cash, maintain schedule in EMR system.
  • Spanish preferred

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma required

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Prior administrative experience in a physician practice or medical environment required
  • Able to work flexible hours to accommodate physicians’ schedule
  • Computer literacy in Word and Excel helpful
  • Knowledge of computerized scheduling & EMR system preferred
  • Ability to process pre-certs/authorizations & referrals as well as medical records releases desired
