Morristown Medical Center is seeking a Full Time Lead Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technologist (Clinician) for the Pedicatric Cardiology department working varying hours 5 days per week. No weekends or calls. 



Essential Job Function:

  • The Children's Heart Center is looking for a Lead Cardiovascular Ultrasound Tech.

  • The candidate will:
    • Perform high quality normal and complex echocardiography exams
    • Oversee the echo lab on a daily basis
    • Create schedules to ensure staffing is appropriate for all facilities
    • Ensure all equipment is functioning properly
    • Act as the liaison between all staff members
    • Responsible for IAC accreditation, peer to peer reviews and general QI and educational efforts
    • Attend local and national conferences

    70% scanning/30% technical oversite



  • High School Diploma or GED required


  • Graduate of CAAHEP or ABHES Cardiovascular Technology program with RDMS or RDCS Certification Required 

Relevant Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years experience with Echocardiogram Ultrasound essential. Pediatric preferred. 
  • Experience in fetal echocardiography is desirable.

  • Must be detail-oriented and organized.
