Atlantic Health System is currently seeking a Full-time Residential Specialist in the Growth House Dept at Newton Medical Center. Hours would be 11a-7p.


Essential Job Functions:


Provides skill teaching, supportive services and direct intervention of adult residents.

Provides clinicians with reports as required on the residents movement towards or barrier to achieving treatment goals and objectives.

Reports on other issues or problems as appropriate.

Oversees residents self administration of medications.

Maintains all necessary resident rehabilitation records according to regulatory guidelines and personal care records.

Provides transportation for residents to medical appointments as necessary.

Assists in household maintenance of the work environment.

Maintains commitment as a team member to achieve program goals and objectives.



  • Bachelors degree in psychology, social work or related field.


  • Maintains current CPR, AED and First Aide Certification as well as Nurse Safe Training and Fire Training; if do not have upon hire, must obtain all certifications within 90 days of employment.

Minimum Experience Required:

  • 2 years relevant experience Required
