Newton Medical Center is seeking a full-time Greeter/Screener to work varied shifts including weekends as needed. 



  • • Welcome patients, guests, and visitors by smiling and greeting them as they arrive and following our screening process.
    • Directing patients, guests, and visitors to the appropriate department for testing or registration process.
    • Using Epic to help guests find the unit and room number of patients they are visiting.
    • Assist vendors signing in and contacting security upon their arrival.
    • Answer phones and transfer accordingly.
    • Signing in SDS and infusion patients to assure seamless handoff to registration and SDS staff.
    • Monitor guests/visitors during High Flu activity to ensure visitors under 16 are aware of restrictions in maternity.
    • Remain vigilant to BOLO’s and collaborate with security for potential risks
    • Coordinate flower and gift deliveries to patient rooms.
    • Round on patient in waiting areas close to information desk (diagnostics, patient access, SDS, and lobby).
    • Contacting transport as needed to escort patients to and from the building.
    • Additional projects as assigned.


Education/Experience Requirement:
  • 1-2 years customer service experience.
  • HS diploma required
