Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Lead Radiographer for the Radiology Unit at Morristown Medical Center. The position will be working

Sun, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday

Shift starts at 7:00am. On Wednesday & Thursday the shift ends at 3:00pm, on Saturday & Sunday the shift ends at 6:30pm/7:00pm

Responsibilities

  • Prepares patients, equipment, supplies for examinations
  • Oversees technologists and determines quality of work performed in area
  • Maintains all equipment and accessories
  • Communicates effectively with Managers & Assistant Managers and other sections/departments on daily procedures
  • Demonstrates competence in set-up of protocols for all procedures
  • Perform all duties and tasks required of diagnostic technologists and adheres to Standards of Care as per policy and procedure manual
  • PACS and EPIC Competent
  • Acts as preceptor
  • Exhibits responsible attitude with regard to attendance and tardiness

Qualifications

Education:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited AMA radiography program
  • A.S. Radiography
  • AART, ASRT and NJDEP license
  • B.S preferred

Requirement:

  • Must have 3 years of radiologic technologist experience
  • Experience working in an inter-disciplinary/inter-department setting
  • Current or past experience in Quality/Process Improvement preferred
  • Candidate will be required to represent the Radiology Department at hospital and organization level committee meetings
  • Good communication skills a must
