Overview

Pediatric Endocrinology, part of Atlantic Medical Group, currently has a full-time opportunity for a Registered Nurse in an outpatient setting in Morristown, NJ.

 

Shift is 830-430pm 

 

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Provide direct patient care, which includes preparation for patient visit, assessment, advocating for patient, working in conjunction with physician with medications, care plans
  • Provide assistance and guidance to Certified Medical Assistants
  • Phone triaging
  • Medication management
  • Educating patients and families, along with coordinating and participating in community education programs, pre-op and post-op teaching of surgical care patients

 

Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required
  • BSN Preferred

Qualifications/requirements:

  • Valid NJ Nursing License, BLS required
  • 3-4 years of experience as an RN
  • Strong communication and computer skills essential
  • Knowledge of insurances and prior authorizations preferred
  • CDCES preferred (certified Diabetes care education specialist)
