Morristown Medical Center is seeking a Full-time Sr. Administrative Assistant for the Cardio Admin department primarily working 7:00am – 3:00pm. Occasional weekends for special events. 


Provide professional executive-level administrative support to the Chair of Department of Cardiology and the Executive Director of the Cardiac Service Line.

  • Coordinate meeting logistics. Gather and prepare necessary supporting documents, materials and relevant support staff
  • Interact on the office's behalf with senior-level leadership, physicians, employees, leadership of affiliated hospitals, and external organizations/vendors.
  • Participate in meetings for purpose of follow up and further coordination under guidance of Chair and Executive Director at appropriate job level
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in fast paced environment
  • Ability to assist with project management/tracking and reporting
  • Provide backup to other support staff in office
  • Additional projects and duties as requested by Chair and Executive Director
  • Assists with presentation preparation and data management



  • High School Degree Required. Bachelor's preferred

Relevant Experience:

  • 5+ years of related work experience, supporting executive level staff preferred
  • Proficiency in multiple software packages, including suite of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Project management experience preferred
