Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Nursing Assistant for Pain Management at 95 Madison Avenue to work varied shifts including weekends as required by the department.

Pain Management Center hours are 8:00AM-4:00PM. Looking for assistance on high volume days during the afternoon from 12pm-5pm (Mondays, Thursdays, and as needed).

Responsibilities

 

  • Supporting nursing personnel in providing direct patient care
  • Assisting patients with daily activities
  • Measuring and recording vital signs
  • Administering basic treatments
  • Helping to ensure a safe care environment
  • Continuous rounding throughout shift to ensure patient and family needs are met
  • Ensuring patients and families have a positive patient experience by exhibiting PRIDE behaviors, rounding, collaboration, teamwork and a positive attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have positive customer service skills

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years' outpatient/procedural experience preferred
  • Prior Epic experience preferred
  • CNA and BLS certification preferred
