Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner for our Dept. of Medicine within Palliative Care.  The experienced Nurse Practitioner will have the ability to work Monday through Friday from about 10 AM to 5:30 PM.  Call is phone coverage only and is once per 5 weeks.

Palliative Care as an NP preferred but would consider an RN to APN coming from a palliative care environment.  Come join this amazing team!

Responsibilities

 
 
 
  • Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
  • Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.
  • Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

BLS, ACLS, Licensed to practice in NJ - Nurse Practitioner
