The mission is to move the enterprise towards data driven decisions. We are connecting the dots in healthcare to improve quality of care and reduce cost of care. We are building a big data platform in AWS to service all areas of the enterprise. The platform ingests data from many sources including clinical data, financial data, payer data and provider data in structured, semi structure and unstructured format. The data is joined together in common data models to make it usable to the data scientist, analyst and report writers. Our goal is to provide reliable, secure, robust, and consistent data to our customers. Make it easy to derive insights delivered to the right people at the right time.
This role is customer facing. Candidate should be well spoken, organized, translate a customer request into a technical solution and be able to decompose complex problems. Candidate is expected to own a task from start to finish. Innovation is encouraged. Typical tasks include moving data, building data models, solving data relationships, mining for insights, optimizing performance, refactoring code, building data pipelines, and solving business problems. Understanding the data models in Epic is necessary as most of our clinical data originates from Epic.
