Morristown Medical Center is seeking a full-time Office Assistant in the Patient Experience department working 7:00-3:00pm shift including every other weekend - Saturday and Sunday shifts together.



  • The Office Assistant will be responsible for all correspondence, supply ordering and inventory control, patient valuable documentation and Origami input and resolution and accounts payable processing.
  • Additionally, the office assistant will be charged with answering the timely response of the patient experience inquiry line, info emails, concerns and complaints, escalation of clinical matters to patient relations.
  • The office Assistant will be responsible for providing support to the Patient Experience Leadership via meeting minutes, agendas and necessary data/excel and power points.
  • This position will support weekend department responsibilities on a bi-weekly basis to ensure proper processing of visitors and escalation of issues to the nursing administrators. 
  • Should be able to display professionalism and good telephone etiquette.
  • Good communication skills.



  • High school diploma required.

Relevant Experience:

  • Customer Service.
  • Retail experienced preferred.
  • HCAHPS knowledgeable.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Previous experience in caring for patients and families
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Publisher
