Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Admitting Representative in the Pre-Procedure Evaluation Center at Morristown Medical Center working primarily 7:30am-3:30pm with two Saturdays per month as required. 

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Must have good customer service and communication skills. Consistently performs daily responsibilities. Accurately performs all functions of patient registration for their PAT appointment or outpatient lab/x-ray, including reviewing all information with patient, completing all information needed in Epic and scans appropriate insurance cards and photo identification. Collects drawing fees from patients if needed at time of service and issues appropriate payment receipts. Performs insurance verification when necessary. Makes sure that the appropriate documents and labels are in the patients' charts prior to handing off to phlebotomy. Respects privacy, property, and confidentiality with sensitivity to the diverse cultures served. Must be a Team player.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED required (Associate degree preferred)
    Past Epic training preferred

Requirements:

  • 1 year experience as a registrar
