Overview

The Internal Medicine & Geriatric Department of Morristown Medical Center, part of Atlantic Medical Group, is currently seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing team.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • The RN will perform all tasks associated with rooming patients including accurate taking and recording of vital signs, perform patient medication reconciliation, complete all necessary POCT logs, complete medication and medical supply inventory and ordering, handle patient inquiries, complete any required prior authorizations for testing and medication, work with ACO to complete quarterly objectives, and assume responsibility for evaluation of clinical staff competencies and ongoing clinical staff training.  

 

 

Qualifications

Education:

  • RN Degree required, BSN preferred 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Valid NJ RN License, BLS, and three years RN experience required 
  • Strong computer and communication skills
  • Occasional Saturdays required
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
