Overview

Atlantic Health System is currently seeking a Per Diem transcriptionist in the Radiology Admin. Department at Chilton Medical Center.  This is not a remote working opportunity, the selected candidate will be expected to work on site at Chilton Medical Center.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Transcribe Radiology reports for Radiologists
  • Provide clerical assistance to CMC Radiologists
  • Schedule varied imaging appointments as necessary
  • Serve as a liaison between the Radiology department and East Entrance staff
  • Other important "back end" clerical duties as determined by the Lead Transcriptionist

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • HS diploma/GED required
  • At least 2 years of experience as a transcriptionist is preferred
  • Note this position requires availability/ shift coverage of every other weekend and participation in the Holiday schedule. And must be able to work, on site, at Chilton Medical Center in Pompton Plainis, NJ. position would also include covering FT staff while on PTO on weekdays
