Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Medical Office Associate for the AMG Valve and Structural Heart Center at Morristown Medical Center, part of Atlantic Medical Group.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • The MOA will manage phones, schedule appointments and physician meetings, greet patients, collect copays,verify demographics, register patients in a practice management system, enter patient information, utilizing EMR, handle new referrals, obtain medical records, and coordinate all testing and screening for patients and work with other departmental administrative staff, nurse practioners and physicians.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma required

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum two years administrative experience in a physician practice required
  • Computer literacy essential
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance, electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to assist patients in a timely manner with concerns and or complaints
