Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full time Credentialing Specialist II for Atlantic Medical Group in Morristown, NJ.


Essential Job Functions:

  • The Credentialing Specialist compiles and maintains physician credentials necessary to ensure initial credentialing enrollment and re-credentialing in Managed Care Plans, Medicare and Medicaid.  
  • Maintains confidentiality of provider information. 
  • Responsibilities include submission of managed care payer, Medicare and Medicaid applications and monitor/track applications through the payer credentialing process. 
  • Other duties as assigned.



  • Highly Organized with excellent time management and problem solving skills
  • Ability to organize, prioritize work and manage multiple priorities
  • Must be self-motivated and work collaboratively as well as independently
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills -Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word skill required. 
  • Knowledge of payer credentialing enrollment process. 
  • Minimum two years of experience credentialing enrollment for Managed Care Insurance Enrollment, Medicare (PECOS) and Medicaid required.
  • Working knowledge of CAQH and Echo is preferred.


  • HS Diploma
  • Minimum two year credentialing experience is required.
