Overview

Hackettstown Medical Center is seeking a Full-time Lead Radiation Therapist to work from 8 AM to 4 PM including every other weekend. 

Responsibilities

  • The Lead Radiation Therapist is responsible for the planning, coordination and evaluation of technical staff
  • Interact and direct therapists in order to effectively deliver high-quality radiation treatment
  • Will perform the duties of a radiation therapist when required
  • Will develop performance expectations and departmental objectives to ensure quality, efficiency and productivity
  • This position includes 3 days a week at Hackettstown Medical Center and 2 days a week as Lead RTT at our out-patient prostate center Eden Lane at another location

Qualifications

Minimum Education Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program
  • ARRT Certification Required
  • Must have a current RT(T) New Jersey Radiation Therapist License

Minimum Experience Required:

  • 5 years practicing as an RTT to include IMRT, SBRT and Align RT
  • 3 years prior supervisory experience required
