The Principal Trainer role is a full-time position with ISS Learning and Development team. The Principal Trainer is expected to support multiple Epic post-live operations in a training and build capacity. Occasional weekends will be required.
The Principal Trainer will interact with operational managers and departmental leads in a training management fashion. The Principal Trainer will design and build innovative curriculum and learning environments, including virtual and elearning, and/or help manage post live ongoing site-based training efforts to maintain a baseline level of correctness beyond the classroom. The overarching responsibility is to support Epic users at all stages of their expertise with the application. The work is accomplished in a team environment and requires excellent problem solving and communication skills with a high level of professionalism. Functions include: Solving highly complex problems and develop solutions to tasks or projects which may be unique, using judgment and initiative.
Senior level Epic trainer experience.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership and change management skills to establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships. Minimum 1-year experience with Epic as a Credentialed Trainer; Epic proficiency preferred.
4yr degree or equivalent experience
