Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a per-diem Materials Rep for the Ambulatory Surgery Center at Morristown Medical Center working as needed up to 5 days per week. Primarily 12-5pm. Up to 4 weekends a year as required. 

Responsibilities

Essential Job Function

 

  • The functions of this position will be support material management initiatives.
  • Inventory control, replacement of supplies and maintenance of par levels.
  • Invoices and repair log.
  • Capable of filling in for material manager during scheduled time off.
  • Assisting staff as needed for supply requisitions and management of replacement items to be ordered daily.
  • Strong communicator of information, strong knowledge base of supplies maintained at facility.
  • Can do attitude, assisting where needed with a team approach to task accomplishment.
  • Heavy lifting required of boxes and equipment.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirments:

  • Advanced computer skills

Minimum Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required

Relevant Experience:

  • Material management or inventory experience a plus
  • 1 year of experience in material management with computerized inventory knowledge, preferably in an operating room setting
