Atlantic Health System is seeking per diem Registered Nurses for the Labor & Delivery Unit at Chilton Medical Center.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
  • Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.
  • Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.




Minimum Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ASS preferred


  • BSN preferred


  • Valid New Jersey Nursing License required
  • BLS required
  • NRP required
  • Inpatient OB cert (Preferred)

Relevant Experience:

  • 1-2 years L&D experience in an acute care environment strongly preferred
  • Special care nursery and mother baby experience preferred
  • Care for laboring mothers, circutlate in Csections, care for mom and baby couplets on the post partem unit, able to stabilize newborns for transfer, and care for infants in an  intermediate care nursery setting
