Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a part-time Nocturnist Nurse Practitioner who is interested in working 7P to 7A - 2 shifts per week.  Every third weekend and no on-call. This position is benefits eleigible!  

Responsibilities

  • The Neuroscience Critical Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a member of the critical care team and has primary responsibility for the management of patients within the critical care setting.
  • The NP manages complex patients under the supervision of the supervising NeuroIntensivist or his/her designee.
  • The nurse practitioner practice models promotes collaboration between disciplines to promote quality patient care, emphasizes education and the promotion of optimal health.
  • Utilizing critical thinking and best evidence practice, the role domains extend to: expert clinical practice, educational development, leadership /consultancy and research.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

 

Minimum Education:

  • BSN required

Education:

  • MSN preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

  • NP License in NJ
  • ACLS
  • BLS

Relevant Experience:

  • 3+ years of acute experience
