Atlantic Health System is seeking a IT Support Technician I -Per Diem, Level 1 Helpdesk. Provide first level support to the team members and other customers of Atlantic Health System in a call center environment.


  • Provide customers with accurate progress information on their requests.
  • Document and classify incidents and service requests in the service management system.
  • Provide initial support, investigation and diagnosis for all incidents.
  • Resolve, confirm resolution and close incidents or escalate calls to the appropriate queues.
  • Answer all email, voice mail and written requests in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with managers and analysts on all emergency outages.
  • Work with other ISS team members and/or vendors to support organizational hardware, software and technology.
  • Run reports and downloads per documented procedures.
  • Monitor systems including servers or interfaces.
  • Must be able to type 40 words per minute.




Minimum Education:

  • Associate’s Degree required


  • Completion of Technical School Certificate highly preferred

Relevant Experience:

  • 1 year of related work experience related to the job description
